Dressing (Blocking) Wires

Thank you for your interest in HandWorks Dressing Wires. The Boise Zonta Club decided to discontinue the Zonta Dressing Wire Project during the Summer of 2005. Myrna Stahman, who developed the kits, has given me the opportunity to continue to offer the dressing wires to knitters. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Myrna to learn how to make her dressing wire kits. HandWorks is currently producing and selling a kit similar to the Deluxe Kit offered through Zonta Club of Boise.

I provide the same quality product that Myrna offered through Zonta. Myrna reviewed the HandWorks Kit and provided valuable feedback for its improvement; she strongly recommended that I offer the Deluxe Kit and, at her suggestion, I have added numerous T-pins to the kit. I am packaging the wires in a sturdy tube, to protect them from being damaged. I have prepared, and include in the kit, detailed information on how to dress your knitted items.

I am committed to continue with Myrna's wonderful charitable philosophy of giving to a women's organization; a portion of each kit sold will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
